Why Jersey Shore's Jenni "JWoww" Farley May Not Marry Her Fiancé Zack Clayton

Jenni "JWoww" Farley might not be hearing wedding bells in the future.
In fact, the Jersey Shore star and her fiancé Zack Clayton—who have been engaged since 2021—like the idea of emulating long-time Hollywood couple Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, who have famously never married after over 40 years together.
"I think she got it right," Jenni exclusively told E! News at the premiere of her director debut Devon in New York City on Nov. 8. "If you remove the paperwork aspect and you just have love, I feel like it makes it so much easier."
The 38-year-old noted that's her opinion now, especially because she's already been through one divorce from ex-husband Roger Mathews, with whom she shares daughter Meilani, 10, and son Greyson, 8.
"Removing that paperwork, it's like you're just with each other because you just want to be with each other," she continued, "and there's nothing getting in the way of that."
And the reality star is especially grateful for her relationship with Zack, saying, "He lets me be me."
"Whatever I am doing, however I'm doing it," she gushed, "he just fully supports me, even with a movie."
The professional wrestler even put aside his fear of scary movies for Jenni, just so he could experience her horror film Devon, which premieres on Screambox Nov. 12.
"It's not his forte," Jenni said, "but he's like, 'If you love it, I'm going to love it for you.'"
And Zack even had a hand in helping the MTV personality develop the film, as he took her to the Pennhurst Asylum for Valentine's Day one year, which immediately inspired the movie. And even though she didn't have a script yet, she booked the asylum as a shooting location.
"I love psychological thrillers," Jenni explained to E!. "I love the aspect of mental illness and studying it because I grew up in a household with it."
She added, "I kind of wrote the script as I went along. I was even writing it on set, just figuring it out based on how the asylum was."
The Jersey Shore Family Vacation star also took a moment to reflect on what she hopes the future will bring for her children—and she's not sure if a turn on reality TV is right for them.
"You raise them to be better than you," she shared. "And as great as I am in reality, I want so much more and so much different for my children."
According to Jenni, she never wanted to be the parent that makes her children follow in her footsteps. But if they do, she'll be there to support them.
"Whatever they do in life, even if it's reality, I just want them to be wholeheartedly happy," she said. "That's my dream for them."
