Though Tia Mowry's success in Hollywood started at an early age, her kids have not expressed much interest in following in her footsteps.
On Wednesday's episode of "The Jennifer Hudson Show," the "Sister, Sister" star, 45, mused about whether her 12-year-old son, Cree Hardrict, and her 5-year-old daughter, Cairo Hardrict, might follow her career path.
"As it stands right now, I don't see it happening," she told Hudson. "But I do see Cree – he's very talented when it comes to acting. He was on one of my shows ... called 'Family Reunion' and he did an episode of that. And he’s so good."
According to IMDB, Cree played Mason in an episode during Season 2 of "Family Reunion," which has more than 40 episodes on Netflix. He and his sister have made appearances on his mom's web series, "Tia Mowry's Quick Fix," which releases episodes on YouTube and Facebook. They've also co-starred in her TikTok videos.
"But I don't think he wants to pursue that right now," Mowry told Hudson. "It's all about basketball. You know, his dad loves basketball, so it's a great way for them to bond."
Meanwhile, Cairo might grow up to be "the President of the United States," Mowry predicted.
Tia Mowry, Cory Hardrict are dedicated to co-parenting after their divorce
Though Mowry described having to "beg" her son to hang out with her these days, "My kids are my everything," she said. "We like to have fun."
Since finalizing her divorce from Cory Hardrict in 2023, Mowry has been working on adapting her life while co-parenting their children.
"Over the past year, I deliberately shifted my perspective and embraced moments of solitude," she wrote in a Dec. 29 Instagram post. "I realized that being alone wasn’t a punishment but rather an opportunity to recharge."
In October 2022, Mowry announced that she and Hardrict were splitting after 14 years of marriage. In her Instagram post, she shared their dedication to maintaining "a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children."
Back in November, Mowry and Hardrict spent Thanksgiving as a family, with both posting photos of the four of them at a dining table.
"We gon be alright," Mowry captioned her post.
