This batch comes with attitude.
Apple Music released entries 70-61 in its 100 Best Albums of all-time list Thursday.
The collection includes two tentpole albums of rap with "All Eyez on Me" by Tupac and "Straight Outta Compton" by NWA. A variety of rock is included in this batch of entries as Metallica's "Master of Puppets" and "Are You Experienced" from the Jimi Hendrix Experience make appearances.
Apple said in a Monday press release that the list was chosen by a committee that included artists, Apple Music employees and industry insiders and that the list is a "love letter to the records that have shaped the world we live and listen in." The tech giant said that it did not factor in streaming statistics when compiling the list.
